Food + Foto | Chocolate Honey Mousse with Sel del Mer

In the final assignment of Souvenir Foto School | Food + Foto, we were rewarded with dessert! In this photo shoot, we made and photographed Chocolate Honey Mousse with Sel del Mer!

FYI, because I had no clue what Sel del Mer was, I finally looked it up (although, a bit too late since I did it after the shoot - hence, the pink Himalayan sea salt in the photo) and found that it is just fancy for Mediterranean sea salt.

The recipe (adapted from this recipe on Epicurious - just sprinkle coarse sea salt on top of the mousse before serving) was insanely easy if you want to try at home! Just beware it is extremely rich so serve in petite portions!

Bon Appétit!

  1. Of course--delicious, Jamie. That crisp focus on the salt is gorgeous, and it makes my mouth water. At the same time, the pink looks like crushed peppermint candy:) Hmm, that might taste quite yummy for Christmas!
